Explanation of our booking conditions

Thank you for choosing Trekking Trails Travels DM OY for your travel adventure. Below are our booking conditions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our customers:

  1. Booking Confirmation
    A booking is considered confirmed only when we receive your payment or a deposit, as per the specified terms. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive an official confirmation email.

  2. Payment Terms
    Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. If a deposit is required, the balance must be paid within the specified time frame prior to the trip departure. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in the cancellation of your booking.

  3. Cancellation Policy
    If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing. The cancellation fees are as follows:

    • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus the deposit.
    • 15-30 days before departure: 50% refund.
    • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund. Cancellations due to personal reasons or emergencies are subject to the same terms.

  4. Changes to Booking
    If you wish to make changes to your booking, please contact us at the earliest. While we will do our best to accommodate changes, they may be subject to availability and additional fees.

  5. Travel Insurance
    We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for medical emergencies, cancellations, and lost baggage. Trekking Trails Travels DM OY is not responsible for any costs arising from unforeseen circumstances.

  6. Health and Fitness Requirements
    Certain tours, especially trekking or adventure activities, may have specific health and fitness requirements. It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet these requirements. Trekking Trails Travels DM OY reserves the right to decline participation if health or fitness conditions are not met.

  7. Responsibility
    Trekking Trails Travels DM OY is committed to providing safe and enjoyable trips. However, we are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delays caused by third-party services, such as transportation providers or accommodations, or unforeseen natural events.

  8. Behavior During the Trip
    We expect all participants to follow our guidelines and respect local customs. Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive may result in being removed from the trip without a refund.

  9. Force Majeure
    Trekking Trails Travels DM OY will not be held responsible for cancellations or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or extreme weather conditions.

  10. Agreement
    By booking with us, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please ensure that you have read and understood all conditions before confirming your booking.

Booking a trip

f you want to book a trip with Trekking Trails, you can complete and send the reservation request on our website. If you would prefer to go through the booking process with us by telephone or visit us by appointment, please call one of our travel advisors at  email [email protected], and we will be happy to assist you.

After you have sent a reservation request via our website, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your trip and travel costs. Only after your approval will your trip be definitively booked. Once you have agreed to the reservation request discussed by telephone, you can no longer cancel or change it free of charge.

When booking, you should take two options into account:

  1. The trip you have booked will be immediately confirmed by Trekking Trails. In that case, you will receive your booking confirmation and invoice by email as soon as possible.

  2. The trip you have booked (or parts of it) must first be requested by us. If we can arrange the trip according to your wishes, your booking will be final, and you will automatically receive the booking confirmation and invoice by email (often after 1 to 10 working days). If an accommodation is fully booked, we will reserve an equivalent alternative for you. The final itinerary can be found on your booking confirmation and invoice. If certain program components or accommodations cannot be confirmed, or if they are not available at the same price, we will contact you to discuss possible alternatives.

The information on our website is compiled with the utmost care. Trekking Trails reserves the right to change the rates, information, etc., stated on our website with or without prior notice. Obvious errors and mistakes on this website do not bind us, nor is Trekking Trails responsible for the consequences arising from them.
