After your first night aboard, begin your day with a scenic view of Ha Torvik. Next, arrive in Ålesund, renowned for its stunning art nouveau architecture, featuring beautiful brick houses and historic warehouses. During the summer months, the voyage continues to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Geiranger Fjord, famous for its dramatic mountain cliffs and mesmerizing waterfalls.

Arrive in the historic city of Trondheim in the morning, a city with over a thousand years of history. The iconic Nidaros Cathedral, Norway’s national shrine, stands as the city’s most famous landmark and is one of the largest cathedrals in Northern Europe. After exploring this remarkable site, continue your journey through the fjord, passing a beautiful archipelago on the way to northern Norway.

On this leg of the journey, we celebrate crossing the Arctic Circle with a special ceremony and continue deeper into the Arctic regions. In summer, this means experiencing the magical midnight sun, while winter days are only a shade darker than night, offering the chance to witness the stunning Northern Lights in the evenings. Nature’s power is evident here, with northern Scandinavia’s largest glacier, the world’s strongest tidal current, and encounters with majestic sea eagles. In the evening, the picturesque fishing villages of Lofoten, dramatic mountains, and a touch of Viking history await.

The voyage continues through narrow fjords and past rugged mountains to Tromsø, a city known for its rich history in hunting, fishing, and polar expeditions. This is also the land of the Sami, Norway's indigenous people. Meeting the Sami and their reindeer while learning about their unique culture offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will stay with you forever.

As far north as you can go—by land and sea—the visit to the North Cape is a highlight and a goal for many voyages along the Norwegian coast. You’ve now reached the farthest east on your voyage. The border with Russia is just a few kilometers away, and in Kirkenes, you'll notice road signs in both Norwegian and Russian.
